Belgian Canal

Landscape with Canal

Pastel on paper, by Marilyn Ruseckas.
24 inches by 34 inches.

2011 $2,950.00

One in a series of pieces inspired by the canals we saw on our trip to Belgium. We enjoyed riding the bike paths that run alongside the water.

This pastel was drawn on acid-free cotton rag paper with light-fast color. The artwork is mounted on acid-free mat board with black window mat as the first layer. There is a spacer between the black mat and a natural museum board window mat, leaving about a 3/8" reveal of black around the image. The assemblage of foam board, mounted and matted artwork, and the glass are framed in natural cherry with paper backing.

I use picture glass in the framing, however non-reflective museum glass or acrylic may be ordered. A price increase would apply.
